One amazing week and a call from the BBC!
I have yet to get into the habit of keeping this blog updated and currently not even sure that anyone is seeing these posts but, regardless, here comes another one. This week has been incredible with the sale of four of my paintings and two of them from when I had only been painting for two months!
The other surprise this week was getting a call from the BBC to ask if I would be interested in being interviewed about my art and they wanted to explore the colour blindness angle that clearly affects my art. I must admit that there was an amusing moment during the initial phone call when the lady who called asked me how my colour blindness manifested itself. I explained that mine wasn’t the usual red-green or yellow-blue blindness and that I have difficulty in seeing and recognising most colours but I still see in colour. The lovely lady then remarked that it was a pity that I didn’t see in black and white! I guess that would have made for a much more interesting story!!! I’ve no idea if the BBC are going to follow up on this but it made for an interesting week.
Today I’m off to exhibit my work for the first time in public at a Christmas Fete in Bicester in North Oxfordshire. Only slightly nervous!
